Qur'an Recitation Competition

• •Open to Islamic students only
• •The Qirat Competition will consist of two rounds:
•Round 1 - Participants will have to recite their assigned Surah from memory, based on their age category, in seperate assigned classrooms. Participating students should only recite the surah mentioned in the following table (based on their age group).
•Round 2 - The qualifying students from the first round will be required to read (not from memory) a preselected section from the Quran.
• •The participants must recite the Surah from the beginning for a duration of 90 seconds.
• •Participants are timed to recite for 90 seconds starting from any ayah chosen by the judge.
• •While reciting, if a participant starts the recitation again (due to some error), then the time will not be recorded again.
